Super Bowl XLIX: Recap and Analysis

It was the start of Super Bowl XLIX which boasted one of the greatest match-ups in Super Bowl history between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. Here are a couple Super Bowl tidbits that are interesting: There has never been a shutout in a Super Bowl and no team has ever come back from more than 10 points down. The Patriots found themselves down 10 in the 4th quarter, but came back to win Super Bowl 49 in stunning fashion, 28-24.

Back to Back: Brady and Big Ben Dominate Again

Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger have been flat out on fire the last two weeks throwing for a jaw dropping 21 touchdowns combined. Brady and Big Ben have always been two of the best in the NFL, but after struggling earlier this season they have come back strong and put their greatness on display for all to see. It’s also interesting that the Patriots and Steelers have scored the same number of points during these past two weeks of greatness from Tom and Ben, (51) (43).

Brady and Big Ben Dominate the Competition

Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger are true franchise quarterbacks, but earlier this season there were questions surrounding both on if we were starting to see the end of their careers sooner than we expected.  The Patriots and Steelers were looking lost on both sides of the ball and there didn’t seem to be an answer as to how to correct things. After today it seems the answer is the same as it’s always been; Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger playing like the great quarterbacks they are and carrying their teams to victory.
