Just like you, we were shocked and devastated to hear the news, not long after we saw him at Arrowhead Stadium welcoming Tony Richardson into the ring of honor, that former Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer has Alzheimer’s disease. We grew up in the 90’s during the rebirth of Kansas City Chiefs football ,thanks to Marty Schottenheimer, and that era will always hold a special place in our hearts as I’m sure it does for every Chiefs fan.
What we want to do is ask for video submissions from former players, teammates, coaches, fans, media, or anyone that wants to share their memories of Marty, thank him for what he did for them, and let him know we are thinking of him and love him.
Let’s make this a special film letting him know that we’re thinking of him and make this a great collection of memories for a man that gave us countless memories to last a lifetime!
Please share this post around to anyone you know who may have played or coached with or for Marty, fans that have special memories of this great coach, and media members who covered Marty. Thank you!
You can send your video submission to firstname.lastname@example.org
