ESPN’s Louis Riddick has given up on Alex Smith

After the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football it was clear that Alex Smith is just too safe and risk averse to hang with the NFL’s elite quarterbacks in the game. ESPN’s Louis Riddick, a former NFL player and scout, had been a staunch Alex Smith defender, but he is now done with him after that Monday night game. We here at the Great American Sports Network knew this was the quarterback the Chiefs were getting and said as much when the trade was announced sending Alex to Kansas City for a 2nd round pick, which ended up being two 2nd round picks due to a conditional pick. Here is our podcast after the trade and Louis Riddick after the Monday Night Football game.
