Bo Pelini Fired By Nebraska

According to various reports, Bo Pelini has been fired by the University of Nebraska after seven seasons following a 9-3 campaign in 2014.

Pelini had an impressive career record at Nebraska (67-27) but was never able to win 10 games or a conference championship at a school with rich winning tradition. Pelini was also somewhat of a PR nightmare for the program, constantly involved with sideline meltdowns as well as a public bashing of the Nebraska fan-base.

If they want to fire me, go ahead.” Pelini said after the 2013 season. Nebraska was more than happy to oblige after yet another season that failed to reach expectations.
